Ambassador Nazarian's visit to Gulbenkian Foundation

The meeting of Ambassador Garen Nazarian with the President of the Board of Trustees Isabel Mota was held at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon. Dr. Razmik Panossian, Director of the Armenian Communities Department of the foundation was present at the meeting.

The ambassador greatly emphasized the events held in 2019 dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the famous Armenian Calouste Gulbenkian, expressing hope that events will be continued in Armenia and the Diaspora expanding the educational, Armenian studies, research and charity programs.

Welcoming the newly appointed ambassador, Ms. Isabel Mota on behalf of the foundation expressed readiness for future cooperation aimed at complementing the ambassador’s efforts to further people-to-people contacts and bilateral relations.

Ambassador Nazarian presented to the Gulbenkian Museum the commemorative gold coin issued by the Central Bank of Armenia on the occasion of the jubilee since the birth of the world-famous businessman and philanthropist. On December 7, the ambassador attended the closing concert of the celebration year held in the foundation’s exhibition hall dedicated to the great Armenian.
