Meeting between Ararat Mirzoyan and Paul Richard Gallagher

On December 5, in Malta, Armenia's Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with the Secretary for Relations with States and International Organizations of the Holy See, Archbishop Paul Richard Gallagher. The meeting took place within the framework of the OSCE Ministerial Council.

During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed issues of cooperation between Armenia and the Vatican.

Ararat Mirzoyan and Paul Richard Gallagher also addressed efforts to establish stability and peace in the South Caucasus. Minister Mirzoyan emphasized the historic opportunity to achieve peace in the region and Armenia’s clearly expressed political will to not miss this chance.

The discussion also covered humanitarian issues as well as the protection of cultural heritage.
